first_imgThe Hay-Adams, one of the world’s leading premium
 luxury hotels, is pleased to announce that it was one of only two 
hotels in the United States and Canada to win The Leading Hotels of the 
World’s 2009 Commitment to Quality Award. The announcement was made at 
this year’s annual convention in Venice, Italy.
According to The Leading Hotels of the World, the winners of the Eighth
 Annual Commitment to Quality Award were those properties that achieved 
the highest Leading Quality Assurance scores during the period of July
2008 to June 2009. Assurance scores include a comprehensive report that
 details a company’s fulfillment of over 1,200 standard points that 
speak to the overall performance of an organization.
“We are honored that our commitment to service and quality has been
 recognized by one of the most prestigious names in the industry. Our
 dedicated staff is a large part of our overall success in providing the 
very highest quality of service to our esteemed guests,” said Hans 
Bruland, vice president and general manager of The Hay-Adams.
 This honor is just the latest for The Hay-Adams. In January 2009, The 
Hay-Adams received four stars from the Forbes Travel Guide and the
 “Most Excellent Service” award from Condé Nast Johansens, a leading 
international luxury travel guide. Among its many accolades in 2009,
The Hay-Adams was also a recipient of the prestigious Leaders Club Gold
 Award from The Leading Hotels in the World.
