VIDEO Wilmington High Students Learn About Vietnam War From Veteran Fred Shine

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Each year, veteran Fred Shine (WHS Class of 1968) speaks to Wilmington High students about his Vietnam War experience. The students read The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien prior to the visit. Shine did two tours in Vietnam, enlisting right after his high school graduation.
