first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Below are FIVE events happening in Wilmington this weekend:Wilmington Youth Soccer’s Parent Night Out & Cornhole TournamentThe Wilmington Youth Soccer Association is holding a Parents Night Out and Cornhole Tournament on Friday, June 1, 2018, from 7pm to 11pm, at the Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street).The event will feature music and karaoke from Two Cousins DJ; raffle table; 50/50 raffle; dancing; finger foods; cash bar; a cornhole tournament; and more.Tickets cost $20 each. The exhibition begins on Friday, June 1, 2018, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, with a reception, refreshments and live music. The exhibition continues on Saturday, June 2, 2018, from noon to 4pm. Prizes will be awarded for the Heaviest Bass and Heaviest Non-Bass in both age groups.The cost to participate in the Derby is $5 for those ages 18 and over, and $2 for anyone age 17 and under. Worms will be available for purchase. There will be shore fishing only – no boats. No fishing license is required for this event only. Rain date is Sunday, June 3.This multigenerational event for youth and non-professional adults began in 1983.
